Yesterday I was able to slip out of the office a few minutes and head on over to the local Wal Mart where they put out the ammo between 8:00 & 9:00 AM. I was able to get three boxes (their limit) of Federal 9mm, 100 per box for the nice price of $21.37 per box. We had been paying that much for 50per box.

Now, if I could only score some inexpensive 22LR for my new practice pistol I would be really happy!

Some dribs and drabs arriving at Walmart in NV: hunting rifle SP ammo and some 12-gauge slugs. Plenty of low brass 12/20 gauge for skeet/trap. 3 box limit. No handgun ammo.

All my local Walmarts have been out for a few weeks. If you call and ask for Sporting goods, they will ask if you're looking for ammo before transferring you.

Same here in northern NV, my wife was with me and I got (6) 100 round boxes for that price. I can go to the range now

My WalMart has been getting those pretty often. I have 9 boxes stored right now.

Update to my original post, hubby and I were able to score 5 boxes of Federal 22LR, qty of 325 per box early last Saturday morning at two separate Walmarts. Timing is definitely the key here.

It's strange but the Walmart in my area stocks their shelves at 4:30 p.m. There's another out in the country that stocks at around 7 p.m. I've tried to see if I could get anything but there's always a crowd of people who are there right after work.

Some showed up late last night, early this morning around my area too.

I scored several boxes of Winchester 9mm 100 round value packs and a box of 50 federal.

The sales associate told me the same thing. They get some, stock the shelves and then might not see any for weeks.
