WoW, what an experience !!! I went to set up on Friday, went home wondering what I wasting my time for. The building had no bathrooms ( you had to go to next building over ), NO AIR CONDITIONING, no food concession ( a trailer type thing set up in the parking lot ), the guy next to me had a tablefull of Chinese guitars and figurines, and the shammy guy was there...
Well, got there Saturday 1 hour before opening, was shocked to see a long, long line of people waiting to get in. Ended up making over 2K profit, came home with more guns than I left with, and met a few cool forum members ( 84CJ & Bigcat were new ones for me ). Overall, a great experience for me !!!

I have to say it was not bad. First show for me in a long time. Ended up costing me a few hundred bucks but I picked up some things I have been needing for a while and can now put a face with the name Rikkn. Even got to see a car or two on the race track next door.

Yeah...it was a decent show. We got there about 11:30 on Saturday and found no line. Didn't find anything I couldn't live without so the wife was happy. She on the other hand found a little SCCY 9mm that SHE couldn't live without so I was happy. Didn't see a single "deal" on ammo but went back by WalMart and got the last two boxes of 9mm Blazer Brass for $9.47 a box and the last two boxes of the same in .40 for $12.97 a box. Not a bad day at all and it was good meeting Rikkn.

Rikkn, where were you set up and what was on your table? Came in Sat about 10:30 and made a quick tour, talked to several dealers and friends, found nothing I needed (got a Sham-Wow and enough fishing poles and BBQ sauce at home already). Talked with the show promoters and they were nice guys. Definitely not a summer or winter site, and only room for about 110 tables. Basically a "local show" - where a real jewel may walk in ( both of the ones I saw had their husbands with them). Interesting M-1 carbine (Winchester) in an origonal paratrooper stock - but you never know?????
