Welcome from Kansas. There are a lot of folks on here very knowledgeable on the Highway Patrolman. If you start a thread in the area of guns manufactured in 1972 and just say "question about 28-2 Highway Patrolman" , you'll get many responses. Also, if you use the search function, there is a Ultimate Highway Patrolman thread that has many posts. As for me, I have 3 Model 28's. One is an awesome shooter, the other two are pristine and parked. The guns you have could be enjoyed either way.
