Hey, y'all! I've been lurking about the forum a bit, but figured I'd better get on here and say hello, now that I've bought my first Smith wheelgun in over a decade.

I've carried autos for years, but have always been a big fan of the classic lines of Smith & Wesson revolvers, especially the Model 19.

I just found a 2.5" round butt Model 19-3 on Arfcom, and I will be taking delivery of it when i go home on R&R next month.

I have a gunsmith friend who has extolled the virutes of Smith & Wesson carry revolvers for years, and now I'm finally joining the club.

Half the fun of owning this fine piece will be putting together a complete carry rig for it, and I'm already planning in that direction.

Will post pics of the revolver as soon as I can!
