Oops, indicating my service in the Navy has shown up as U.S. Navy, which of course is not correct. My service was in the Australian Navy, or to be more concise, the Fleet Air Arm. Accordingly, I have amended my profile so I assume the badge will eventually be removed.

Your model 41 dates to late 1981 or, more likely, early 1982.
 
Greetings from North Carolina. My grandfather served in 9 battles in the Pacific during ww2. He took RnR leave in New Zealand and proclaimed it the most beautiful land on Earth. And he had seen a lot of the globe.
 
That it is Buick, a little bit of Scotland, a bit of Canada and a bit of Australia, all rolled into one :)) And Covid free...
