Hello!

I've been shooting since I was 9, as my Dad was an avid shooter. He was very strict on gun safety, and even started my training with a 1860 Colt Army, as a way to teach me how a firearm works.

I own a few S&W handguns, but this is my favorite. Bought this from B&B Gun Sales around 1995, which was the shop the LAPD went to so they could grab AR-15s, in order to fight against the North Hollywood bank robbers.

Love this gun. Trigger is truly amazing. Still have the original box, paperwork and receipt.

Welcome! I knew Bob well and Barry less so. :)

I didn't know any of the owners. B&B wasn't my main gun shop back then, but they had a 66 in stock when I was looking for one. I mainly shopped at Pony Express, Gun World (when they were next to the Van Nuys airport), Sherwood International, Andrews/Turner's and National Gun Sales.

Howdy, nice revolver. I remember the B&B ads that were in a weekly rag for Ventura County residents. I left Camarillo about 4 years ago. I used to have to drive out to Freemont Peaks to get away from the city which is about 3 hours. Now it's just 10 minutes to go shooting.

All of my old stomping grounds in the Valley. I see Turner's and Gun World are still fighting the good fight.
