Been out of the Corps since 2001 and figured it’s that time with all
the crazy going on in the world right now. I looked at Taurus, Beretta and S&W. Glad I settled on my S&W M&P .45 2.0. Only fired 70 rounds through it so far and it performed flawlessly for me. Looking to get my CC but will more than likely go for a .45 Shield. Just something about the .45 I’ve always liked over the 9mm, .40 or .380.

And here’s my new piece.

Welcome from WA!

I too got out of the Marines in 2001 (though I later switched teams, look above) and spent a few years at wonderful and scenic Camp Lejeune. Kidding of course...no desire to return to Jacksonville though I'd like to see Emerald Isle and that area again.

.45 is a great choice. At one point I was down to only ONE .45ACP gun but am now up to 3 and likely will get a S&W 625 to complement the others. With most new shooters buying 9mms, I see a decent amount of .45 on the local shelves of real gun stores (not the big box stores). Now if I could just find some primers...

You are going to enjoy this forum. There is a lot of knowledge here and
they have some real pretty guns.
