Yea, Im another new guy, a long time shooter, rifles and pistols, some black powder. I'm a prototype fabricator/ welder, I have welded every thing from pressure vessels to tiny stainless steele tubing.

I just retired a little to early, I didn't know the economy would fall in a hole, to concentrate on automotive sculptures.

I also just bought a new S&W 647, I pulled the 2x scope off my 617 and took it to the range last week. Two of us put around 200 rounds through it, it's a tack driver, any one know why S&W quit building them?

Any way this a great site, lots of great info, I think I'll hang out here for a while.
