I've been lurking for a few months now.
I live in Will County, thankfully out of range of Cook County and Chicago's insane gun control laws.
I'm mainly a Mil Surp rifle target shooter, but for some reason I got into .38 and .357 snubbie's a few years back. Might have had something to do with my adult daughter "borrowing" one of mine and taking it home with her.
I've learned that when I take my kids to the range the cost may well be one of my guns they like. Now the grand kids are even starting to get possessive. My grand daughter announced that my little Nylon 66 .22 was actually "her gun" and that she's just keeping it at Grandpa's for now.
Not a bad way to get kids into shooting sports I guess, and it's a great excuse to keep shopping for new guns.
So far I'm using posts on reloading .38 special, .357 and .45 Long Colt.
