Greetings from the swamps

Greetings from East Tennessee. As a recently retiree, all I can say is “Come on in. The water’s fine!”

Keep on Chooglin'. Fwiw when I lived in the SF Bay Area during the 1970s, I resided in El Cerrito where all the members of the band, CCR, grew up, located across the bay from SF and just north of Berkeley. They lived a few blocks away from me. And I once polished the drummer's sailboat when I worked in yacht repair. The cover for the album Willy and the Poor Boys was a photo taken of an old market in nearby Oakland that was home to the Black Panthers. but alas, someone recently stole the sign from the Duck Kee market. And obviously none of their fame and fortune rubbed off on me.

To all I'm originally from the area of the Mojave that was once frequented by Charles Manson, near Death Valley. ...appropriately named.....
