I just picked up a beautiful 66-1 that I won on gunbroker that had the old style Hogue grips. I just happened to have a nice set of targets but the grip pin has been removed so can anyone tell me the size of this pin? I would think that I could pick one up at a hardware store if I knew the size. Thanks and phone pic's

I just went thru this. its 7/64" x 5/8" long. McMaster Carr has them for a few bucks for 50. If you need one PM with your address and I will be glad to drop in in an envelope to you gratis. I dont think I will ever use the 50 I now have on hand.

Thanks for the offer but I just ordered a couple.

I found an unlimited supply of pins in my closet. A stiff wire coat
hanger that was exactly the same dia. as the factory pin. Cut a piece
to proper length, tap it in and round the ends with a small file.

I made my replacement out of a nail, of appropriate size.

Looks fine, and works.............
