Looking for another suggestion from those that have upgraded their pistol grips.

I wear an XL glove size. What have ya'll found to work good for the larger hand? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the help!

I wear a 2Xl glove. I like the MOE grip mine came with over the standard AR grip. The added portion at the web of the thumb increases the reach to the trigger which is very nice for me. I've wanted to try the MIAD kit to see what the different backstraps feel like (it comes with 3) but I haven't had enough spare funds to justify replacing something I don't feel needs to be.

Most grips wont vary much in thickness due to the grip needing to taper flush to the lower receiver so the safety can clear it.

The hogue grip works great for larger hands, it's a good bit thicker than a stock AR15 grip it's overmolded in rubber (very tactile) and has nice palm swells. If you want even thicker, the SPR sniper grip is nice, it's molded out of a fiber reinforced nylon not quite as tactile "feeling" but it's way wider, it is pretty much for right handers only, as it has a molded in thumb rest on the grip.

I tried the houge grip and wasn't a fan. I have better luck with the CAA G-27 grip. i has a backtrap which fills the web if my thumb nicely. CAA also has the UPG 16, which is the next level up and has interchangeable panels which you could customize to your needs.

Try the CAA UPG16 it has FULLY cutomizable front and rear grip pads for the grip itself. From what I hear the rubberized front finger grooves, and rear ones realy lock your hand onto the grip for a perfect tight fit. Bascily its made to be just like what a Springfield XDM pistol has.

I have been wanting one for a LONG time, And I see them alot. But I only want it in the tan color to match my rifles color scheme. Some places have the grip from $30 and Ive seen it as high as $50 before. This grip is 100% able to be fitted to the individuals hand. Rather than us having to fit to the pre set grip sizes.

I have a MagPul MOE & MIAD & both are ok but I really like the Ergo Tactical deluxe grip on my P415. It has a nice "swell" to it. It fills your hand very nicely & just plain comfortable. If I could get it in foliage green I would be putting one on my 15T & 15-22.

Thanks to all for the suggestions. I've decided to take the advice of kj & downrange and have purchased the "CAA UPG16". This looks like the perfect fit. Thank you all for the help. This is really a great place!
