Howdy,

My 6" 19-5 has factory combat stocks on it. I understand their worth a lot on the market. I'd like to trade them plus cash for a pair of different grips but I'm sure where and what kind. I'd prefer wood if anyone knows of any.

I appreciate any help,

Jason

Well you might try the ( Accessories/Misc - For Sale or Trade ) section here on the forum , you could make a thread and ask for a trade for some grips and cash, just a thought.

Good idea, I hadn't thought of that. I made a offer to another member. If I don't hear anything from him I'll put up a ad.

Here's a pic of the revolver for graphic purposes

00Buck2 brought up a good point...Is it possible these aren't combat grips at all? I'll upload another closer pic of them

Then what are these? That's what I was told they are in a previous thread. This is my first S&W and I'm learning still.

Technically they are combat style grips. They are not what I have known k frame S&W combat stock to look like. The butt looks really large, almost to large to be a set of K targets that have been modified.
Possibly a custom set of stocks?

They may be combat grips, I am not a an expert on grips. The one's I have on my 19-5 are factory combat grips I purchased.

Me either, the fanciest ones I have are micarta on my 1911.
Thanks for the help though everyone

These are the stock one's from the factory on my 19-5? I think they are Goncalo Alves but not sure? I know they are super nice and I love this gun, 1983 and like brand new.
