Grips for 19 snubby ?

The S&W Combat Grips are generally big dollars and always look nice; but don't always fit everyone's hands.
The checkered target grips pictured are what I made a set of "Boot grips" from before finding Spegel.

So true on fit. Spegel's don't fit me, S&W combats do, while getting the pinky mounted. Also great for 357 magnum loads too.

For comfort shooting the Hogue Bantam rubber grips or Uncle Mikes rubber grips / Pacmyer are the best. For looks and comfort shooting the Hogue wood as pictured above are nice. The stag grips on the 66 are Eagle then same gun with Uncle Mikes boot grips and Hogue laminated boot grips. The 65 has the Hogue Bantam and the 686 has the Hogue.

I'm a fan of the factory combats on mine. Fit my hand very nicely.

On my 2.5" 19/66s, I prefer short boot grips; bananas are the longest I use. I would love a pair of spegels, but currently use Eagle Secret Service or Hogue bantams. Must be wood. Magnas with a Tyler T also work for me.

Badger Custom Grips.

I'm a big fan of Jim Badger's stocks, too. The first pair of custom stocks I purchased were from Badger for my Model 28-2...they're still on it after many years. Initially I had a couple of very minor issues with how the stocks fit my HP, and Jim explained how I could quickly fix the issues myself (to perfectly fit my HP) and then how to buff the finish on the stocks. Outstanding! I think Badger stocks are a little under appreciated.

If you can find them, my personal favorites on any round butt K-frame is the old Uncle Mikes/Butler Creek Boot Grips. Its not so much the rubber, its the design that fits my hand perfectly.
They've been out of production for some time. But if you look around a bit, they can still be found. ;)

What are some of your Favorite grips for a Model 19 2 1/2 inch barreled gun. I'm not a big fan of the little factory grips. I'm not going to be carrying it. And probably wont shoot hot .357's thru it. Just for range shooting and a BBQ gun. I've got a really nice board of KOA wood for John Culina to do his Majic with.

Range shooting: Hogue.
BBQ gun: standard factory checkered round butt with grip adapter.
Occasional carry: Hogue Bantam.

The Uncle Mikes grips are licenced copies of Craig Spegel's wood grips
