Grips Without Medallions?

I'm not sure what's come over me, but I'm getting so I don't like grips without medallions on my S&W revolvers, must be because of the fine work Kurac and Executioner does on their grips, with medallions. Is this a "snob thing" or does anyone else prefer grips with medallions in a serious way?

I think you can get Spegal with them, SmithNut has a bunch of them. They are a nice looking stock, Ahrends is what I like. Ahrends don't install them, if he did my stocks would have them for sure.

I know exactly how you feel. I've gone out of my way to make sure all of my guns have them.

I don't know what it is, but they just don't look right, or feel right.
