If you're older than 60, it's o.k. to be grouchy. Everyone expects it and nobody holds you responsible for it.

I am over 60 and some folks call me grouchy, why I even have a GRUMPY (Disney character) t-shirt that I got for Father's Day a few years ago. I wear it proudly and if anyone makes a snide comment about it, I tell them to "Shut up, DOPEY!!"

ditrina- I passed #32 last week with almost no discomfort, all the tubing has been bored out over the years and a normal stone in not too bad. But I have been in your situation a few times and can truly feel your pain. Good luck and hurry up Monday!

Even as old and "stove-up" as I am, it's hard to be grouchy in spring. Except for the fact that my damn car won't run so I can get out and go fishing. That could provoke a serious grump.

I try hard not to be grouchy although I have good reason to be lately. I try not to watch the news too much though as it'll put me in a foul mood too fast.
My wife on the other hand watches too much news, is stressed by work and school and is grouchy and takes it out on me. I'm hoping this too will pass and hurry up summer break.

I ain't grouchy... I'm jes tryin to get along!
I'm really stressed lately...never in my life has it been this difficult to NOT be grouchy. I'm 58, working 55---60 hours a week, trying to sock $ away for retirement because I've never made this much money before...the work just wasn't there when I was a younger man. Plus, I've never been this old before......

Sorry, thought this was about my soon to be in puberty daughter. She has been a bear for the last week. She got hit in the fact with a lacrosse ball and got a concussion so she has been on strict bed rest for the last week. Pray for both of us please!

As to the other issue, I have been there, gone through that. Just stay FAR away, don't try to be nice or helpful or anything. Kinda like a horror movie
