Group emails not getting to addressee's

My wife takes care of all the decorating for our church. She has a committee of a dozen or so, and sends out emails for work days,and with Easter coming needs to send out several notices for work days.

She last month sent out the group email (using a group listing in Outlook). Only about 3 or 4 answered. Most indicate they didn't get her email. I have sat over her shoulder and helped her build her group and I know it is correct.

I have heard that some platforms that receive emails with multiple addressee's sent them to a spam file. I have had that happen when I send out some with an attachment.

Do you think this is happening for small group emails without attachments?

Some email platforms consider any message sent to multiple recipients to be spam, but the threshold can vary. Outlook has a max of 500 recipients per message but it may be on the recipient's side, a restriction set by the ISP or even a firewall rule so I would recommend try splitting her current group in half, or perhaps into sub-groups of 5 and see if that helps.

We had that problem years back and did the above bolded. We also put in our own recipient Email in each group so we could see if the info got out or not! We split up our list into 5 groups!
 
My club sends out RSO group notifications of RSO scheduling issues. As best I can tell, Hotmail or Outlook or whatever it is is not even consistent in whether it considers these notifications spam or "real." I simply have to scope out all spam for significant senders before deleting.
 
You should consider a different channel of communication maybe, like slack. Most of the business email end up in a spam folder and there is not much you can do about it. With the microsoft teams sms you can be sure that your information was delivered to every single customer and you might hear from them soon.
