I had the 2" J-Frames out for a Saturday display and snapped a couple of updated photos:

They are great guns and my wife always tells me that IF she ever were to carry, one of these is what she would carry.:)

I would love to see photos of your two inch J-Frame revolvers.

Thanks for letting me share,

Here's my modest collection of 2" J's…..

I lent the 60 with hammer to my daughter in NC to use for her CCW permit class…the only revolver in the whole class. Instructor was pleasantly surprised as she did quite well at the range with it..

Any bets on whether or not I get this one back?

GREAT Guns!!!

Thanks for sharing,

Great guns. What model number is that one? Did they make many of them? I think I saw one for sale not long ago and thought about adding it to the herd...

It looks like a 640-1 Pro. I had one of those up until recently when my daughter relieved me of it.

no group pic but i have a few. thanks for sharing. krs\kenny

Here is a pairing of 2" J-frame "targets".
SN 150112, blue carbon steel, square butt, not model marked, from the 1959 batch of 198 units, and
SN ALU7177, stainless steel, round butt, "Ashland Target" Model 60-1, shipped about 1985 and one of a batch of about 660.
