So let me get this straight... The bill shows no potential of ever making it out of committee once the roll call vote is taken, but before the final nail is put into its coffin they cry "time out!" and say they're going to "hold" the bill for future amending. This is "fair" how, exactly?

US Congress does it all the time. This goes along with "we'll compromise as long as we get what we want".

Me too. Nearly every politician in this country is worthless. They live in their own world and never bother looking out the window. I think my Sons 2nd grade class could make better decisions.

Sorry to say this but things are not likely to improve until we get to the point Egypt recently got to. Don't think it can't happen here. I'm not advocating but considering the worlds second super power, USSR, collapsed anything is possible.
