I have had good collectable transactions on GB , never had bought new I can recall.
In and for that I use my local LGS .
The Last GB purchases were last Fall 2020 prior the implementing of Sales Tax by GB, in Florida.
That and the rash of scams & fraud , has ended my use of GB sadly.

GunBroker just added a 1% "compliance fee".

If my math is right that nets them $10,000,000 more a year. Maybe now they can afford to stop letting their vendors try to scam me using their email.

I know guys who buy off GB and other middlemen sites. Mostly satisfied but enough bad deals that I don’t deal with them at all. I buy a few off trusted forums such as S&W or buy off individuals F/F.
I never could get my head around “ winning “ an item at auction. I think this was created from “ winning bid “, to make people feel better after paying to much.
You don’t win anything at auction.

I've never had a bad transaction on gunbroker, except for one particular seller that I'm 99% sure had a NR shill bidder running up the bids on guns they were selling.
