Check out my 28-2 Highway Patrolman, serial no. N89XXX. Paid $550 OTD. I have a 6" 27-2 and this is my first 4" N frame.

How did I do?

Saw one at a local show today, $485, bluing not as nice and wearing pach's. I was hoping to get one as well today, but not meant to be.

Feels good to get a Highway Patrolman I'm sure.

I felt I paid a little much but the finish is just about perfect. Only a slight bit of wear at the end of the barrel. I am going to holster this one and shoot it a good bit. My 27 is so pretty I hate to put it in a holster.

Uh-Oh ! You have started something now....you will find yourself in "need" of more 4" N frames. Might I suggest a 4" 629 for contrast ?

I bought a 28-2 for $450 + shipping. Picked it up on Wed. this week. It was not a -2 gun. Turned out to be a no dash 1960. Excellent condition, but had Pachs on it. They are gone. It is my first N, and plan to shoot it today. It is a 6". Enjoy yours, it's nice! Bob

Watch out! Those 4" N frames are addicting! Next thing you know you will want a M29, M57, M58....did I mention that they can be addicting? Hey, looks like a beautiful piece! Glad that you are happy with it. M28's are great shooters!
