Went to my first gun show today in about 10 years, guy in front of me had two revolvers he was looking to sell. 18-3 blued, no box, magna stocks. $700. Also had a 19-3 blued no box target stocks, $900. I had a shot at the 18-3 which was clean but I walked around for 5 minutes too long. He traded on a browning lever. Dealer put a tag on for $950 lol.
The 19-3 had some freckles on the cylinder and wear on the barrel from a holster but was tight. Good shooter. I offered $800 but he wanted $850, so I left it there. (Already have 586, 686, 66)
Anyway, I snoozed and I lost on a clean 18-3 that would have been a face to face sale, no tax, no transfer.
I don't regret leaving the 19 there.
