can someone reccomend a good pistolsmith in the houston area for refinishing a colt 1911 ? thanks.

How good do you want? A restoration or factory type refinish? What kind of money do you want to spend? What kind of condition is your 1911 in? Is it rusty and pitted or just a bit worn?

factory type refinsh. pistol is just finsh worn, holster burn. no rust. thanks.

Try Briley. 10 and beltway 8 north west. They did some refinish work for me and I was pleased. A buddy had some rifle work done by them also and he was pleased.
