Gushing over the new Glock?

It's quite a lot bigger than my P938 and the same capacity. Forget it.

Like others, I think I'd prefer the Model 26, which has a good reputation. But, consider this: a lot of people in the Glockiverse have been clamoring for a single-stack nine for a long time. Glock has given them what they wanted, and that's what business is about.

I am definitely one of those. I use my 19 a lot. I tried a 26 but it is just too fat in the grip area, for that grip length.

I have the kahr p9 covert, which is a solid gun, but whenever I pull the trigger it feels like my thumbs are in the way.

I have my Sig 938 which is a great shooter, but my thumbs are awkward on it as well.

As weird as it sounds, I want something just a tad bigger for pocket carry. I wish I could fit a sig 239 in my pocket but it is just not feasible.

I spent a good portion of the day yesterday looking for info on the Glock blue label (LE) on the G43.
I learned they won't be available until mid April.
BL price is $358 w/o night sights, $411 with.
My EDC is a G27. Occasionally, when required, I carry my Kahr PM9.
At the LE price I will buy the G43 for an in between small handgun.
Same capacity as my PM9 (6+1), a little larger but that's not a problem because I'm not a big fan of pocket carry anyway.
I might sell the PM9. ;)

As of this morning, I am on two dealer lists here in FL for a G43 at the LE blue label pricing.
Bottom line, I don't expect to see either much before late June or early May. It seems that the first shipments (mid April) are already sold out!
One dealer told me that the G43 is going to be the hottest thing to hit the LE market in the past two decades. We shall see... ;)

Over Glocks I do not gush.

The only one I liked was a dealer sample full auto pistol, a converted 34,
that I got to shoot once.

The S&W M&P feels much better to me. I don't have any of those yet
either.

Definitely interested in one. Besides being a .380, the G42 was just a wee bit too small for me, as is the Karh PM/CM9. Sounds like the size of the G43 may be just right.

There's also not enough size difference between the Shield and my 3913 to make the switch. I won't pay north of $500 for a 43, but folks are already ordering them for about for around $400, and if the Blue Label price is $385 as has been reported, I'm in for one.

From what I found in the past couple of days, the LE blue label price will be $358 w/o night sights and $411 with.

Even Glock's web site says that the G26 is the Baby Glock. Then what should the G43 be called?

The Sickly Baby Glock, because it's thinner?

The Meh Baby Glock, because it's uninspired?

Iraqveteran8888 has a new video out on the Glock 43. Looks very nice. Can't wait to try one.
