I've been working way too much in recent months, and decided to invest some of my extra cash in some new to me pistols, and I must have picked the right time, I found an excellent model 59, in the original box with both mags and manual, a pristine model 659 in original box with both mags and all the paperwork, looks to be factory fired only, both locally. Also grabbed another 659 in excellent shape, also in original box with accessories, waiting for it to arrive (tomorrow, hopefully). A few pics of the locally found pair....

They look pretty right to me. Nice pistols and, yes, it is unusual to find those in box with papers so three in a row in a short period of time (1 week!) must be some kind of minor record.

That would be a good decade for me, lol. Congrats on the new pistols.
It seems to get harder and harder to find nice, original pistols in the box, and that's my primary focus. I will buy em without, but they're either rare, too good to pass up, or just shooter grade models I happen to like....I've been hunting for an early, round trigger guard fixed sight 659 for a LONG time LNIB, and I was thrilled to get my hands on one, finally, and to top it off, it was literally in my own back yard, owned by a retired fellow LE officer, who mulled over my five hundred dollar offer for a few days before finally shaking on it. Needless to say, that one really made my good week great!

Clearly the OP does not live in California, where there is a mandatory 30-day wait between handgun purchases.
It does keep you from going broke buying guns, since you can only buy 12 per year.

Apparently forgot to post pics of the third one, so here it is, an "interim", or transitional 659, in excellent shape with box, docs, and mags. Fits right in with the other three i've been lucky enough to find.....
