I was looking through the upcoming television movies last night, and saw one that I thought I had seen, but wasn't sure. It was rated 4 out of 5 stars so I bookmarked it to watch today. It was called "Rosemary's Baby" from 1968, starring Mia Farrow and directed by Roman Polanski, who actually married Sharon Tate (from "Helter Skelter" fame) in 1968. When I started watching it, I realized that I hadn't seen it before. Wow, I thought it was pretty good. First off, the movie I was confusing it with was "Carrie".🤪 So, that's what I thought was going to happen. Fairly quickly, I realized that wasn't the movie that I was watching. It started kinda slow, but got good. I thought the ending could have been better.

I know there are many movie buffs here. What did y'all think of this movie?

Years ago I had a contract for some engineering work at The Dakota, whose exterior was used to stand in for the fictional "Bramford" in the film.

IIRC, it was Manhattan's first true luxury apartment building, having been completed back in the late 1800s, and is also where John Lennon was murdered.

The co-op board wouldn't allow filming inside the building itself so the movie interiors were shot in an accurately recreated apartment on a set in a sound studio.

One of the greatest horror movies ever filmed IMO.
