Halloween

Please see posts #2 and #3. Pretty much a toss up there for me. But on a side note if you ever go into a Cracker Barrel the Country Store there has many old fashioned candies: Root beer barrels, Circus peanuts, Real peanut brittle, Saltwater taffey, malted milk balls, sugar babies, milk duds, many more....It's all good! :)

I refuse to choose just one. The following ALL make me very happy!

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups-- and nobody has nor will ever concoct any PB/chocolate confection that matches the taste of this classic.

Reese's Fast Break: I was skeptical with this off-shoot, but WOW, the nougat is fantastic

Snickers... original, none of the offshoot Snickers are nearly as good.

Skittles... these will wreck your teeth and jaw until you learn to appreciate them properly and put 4-5 in your mouth and suck on 'em until they become this sugary, fruity blob of happiness.

Red Hots... these also provide more enjoyment when you eat them the same way as I described Skittles above

Almond Joy... never had an Almond Joy where it seemed "big enough", so much goodness and always seems far too small.

Peanut M&M's in the YELLOW bag: there are seemingly eight different kinds of M&M's these day but none of them can hold Peanuts jock, no way. The classic yellow bag slaughters all of the other M&M products and it isn't close. A specific "BOO" to peanut butter M&M's, these imposters almost look like classic peanut M&M's but are a waste in comparison. These actually upset me. At least plain M&M's don't pretend -- see plain M&M's and you know they aren't the fantastic Peanut M&M's. Hahaha.

Starburst jelly beans are fantastic! As jelly beans go, far more tasty than traditional and no worries of oddball high-brow flavors (with irrational price) of some of the hoity toity Jelly Belly stuff. And while classic Starburst candy is good stuff... man the little wrappers are totally annoying. And you get WAY too many orange and lemon in any bag or stick of them.

Thanks for the list. Saved me typing, I just edited out the stuff I can do without ;)

As for peanut M&M’s, they’re good, but just so small. I go for the opposite. Have you seen Reese’s BIG CUPs? I wish they didn’t have to print the calories on the wrapper so prominently. And of course king-sized Snickers. Finally a wrapper to match my attitude.

Needless to say, on Halloween I turn out the porchlight and eat the stuff myself :D

Last Halloween, my grandson offered me any piece of candy in his plastic pumpkin. I reached in and grabbed a Baby Ruth.:D

I can not make myself eat a Baby Ruth since I saw the movie Caddy shack w/Rodney Dangerfield, Ted Knight, Bill Murray and Chevy Chase.

Yeah...the swimming pool scene.

That was the best. Here's another pool funny. Don't know where or when this was made.

My favorite are Reese's Peanut Butter Cups as well.
