hammer trigger recasehardened

where can I send a hammer and trigger for a pre 27 to be recashardened.

Picked up a pre 27 and it appears that someone was in the process of
preparing the hammer and trigger for something because the case hardening was polished off.

You would probably have to send them to some one like Ford's or maybe S&W to have them recased correctly.Or,you could send them to someone like Rebel Refinisher's to have them "faux" case colored.I believe they do it somehow with a torch.I had these done on this HD after they removed the nickle from them.To me it looks pretty good,it's not as durable as the real thing but it's a lot cheaper.Maybe someone else will chime in with better info for you.
