Maximumbob54,
I having fun in retirement, presently using a WAAGE POT to ladle (they are worth the price).
Just using 6 cavity Lee W.C. moulds and a BRASS 4 Cavity NOE (Nite Owl Enterprises) SWC mould at present.
I have Ballisti-Cast hand cast moulds and Ballisti-Cast (The OLD H&G Designs) for the Magma Machine when I start it up.
I have Lee Pots (Ladle and Bottom Pour) along with a RCBS Bottom Pour.
I will be set to cast for 38Special, 45ACP, 45LC, 44SPECIAL, 40S&W, 9MM.
No need to shoot magnums, plus I don't hunt.
OH!, The reason for all the WADCUTTERS, I just had a Custom PPC Revolver built by A.P. & W. (COGAN).
It's based on a S&W Model 64-3, and has a Shilen 6"(1 in 14 twist) Barrell, Aristocrat Full Length Rib Tri-Sight, Aristocrat Full Underlug,
Competition Action Job, Chamfer Cylinders, and Nill (from Germany) PPC Two Hand Wood Grips.
The revolver is HARD CHROMED over the stainless.
Put a Magnet on your Stainless Revolvers, they're magnetic and can rust some, the hard chrome is just a better finish overall I feel.
I know the PPC Revolver is kinda obsolete, but I love revolvers and wanted one, and not a shot to death one, hense, the NEW BUILD.
This is kinda like the DOOMSDAY PREPPERS, only with a Shooting Hobby Self Sufficiency.
I have Lead in stock and a stash of cast PENN BULLETS to boot, along with Hornady FREE BULLETS for a press and dies I purchased.
Also in stock are some Cast Boolits from QUALITY CAST (a friend) and some ZERO bullets from a gun show.
All this is like going to work, only a lot more FUN on MY SCHEDULE.
HAVE A GOOD DAY
