Hand Ejector Date Check Please

Could anyone help date this 5 screw hand ejector serial #526705?
Serial numbers match all around. It’s in excellent condition.
I know it’s pre WWII, I’m guessing late 20s, early 30s?
Friend trying to value it so it can be sold.

Possibly 1926 or 27. JP@AK will be along shortly and pin it down. Value between VG=$500 to EXC=$800.

Best estimate for a ship date is around 1925. I have one in my collection that shipped in February 1926, with a serial number in the 531000 range.

Stocks are period correct.

I think Guy's lower price estimate is in the ballpark.

The gun looks 98-99% to me. The grips look new. I'd put it at the high end of Guy's range.

Very nice HE. Advertise it here, as opposed to taking it to a store or pawn shop. You should get $700 or more easily. Retailers will only offer half that.
