Hand Ejector

Welcome to the forum, Bob.

We‘ll need a bit more information than that. The serial makes it a wartime M&P from 1941, so it’s interesting, and has some collector potential.

But these were made in the millions, so for value, condition is everything. For further comments, you’d need to post photos.

Welcome! It depends on the gun's condition; it is from the late 1930 to early 1940 decade and is a common gun, so one in average condition is going to be in the $300-400 range.

Are you a member of the SWHF? There may be extra information about it available to you if so.

That SN would date its likely shipment to be around early 1941, probably not before. Is it .38 S&W Special or .38 S&W? As stated, condition and originality is everything. BTW, S&W stopped using that "Model of 1905" nomenclature before WWI. It's a Military and Police (M&P) Model.
