Wow! Combat stocks, target hammer and target trigger! Your lucky day to happen on that gun.

Congratulations. Great revolver, it will make a great shooter and probably one of your favorites.

Oh, you did quite well on that price! Just curious, did those grips come with it? I see that it looks like it has target hammer and target trigger, that would be nice. I have a 617-1 four inch bbl revolver that I bought LNIB, and it came with Hogue rubber grips. You should be very happy with your purchase! This is mine with Hogue wood grips. I think there were some changes of the 617-1 during it's production, notice the difference in the cylinder release button of mine vs yours.

Yes, mine came as in the pictures, with the combat grips.

I should also state that it is LNIB, was never fired (at least to the best knowledge of the LGS where I bought it, who also sold it to the first owner, and whom he knew very well, it was an estate purchase with many of the revolvers never have being shot, as the owner was a collector).

It also came with the box, all paperwork, and tools.

Luckily I am friendly with the LGS owner, and he made me aware that he was going to have some nice estate firearms he was picking up soon, and let me know when to stop and look, as he was certain I would "like" some of them.

I believe mine to be an early 617-1, from what I understand.

Yours is a Beauty also!

Thanks!
