My Dad flew for the Navy in WWII, and I do love the Navy, but in my heart the Marines is the service I'd most want to be a part of. Under equipped, over tasked, hard core death dealers that can think on their feet and EVERY ONE a rifleman.

I had the distinct privilege to watch a graduating ceremony at Coronado Island. I had tears in my eyes.

My son reminded the family earlier today.

Congrats USMC and all who served with them. That includes Navy Corpsmen.

My son the Marine did Desert Storm. I was probably more nervous than he was. His takeaway was our air power was awesome.
