Hardboiling An Ostrich Egg

We had emu and ostrich eggs at a rescue I worked for.

We cooked them in a oven at 425 for and hour or so.

(Mostly we scrambled them for the big cats)
 
In my younger days I have eaten some funky stuff:

raw frog during a gigging trip
rattlesnake (on a pizza - delicious)
a bite of a liver from a freshly harvested deer
multiple - multiple insects , after reading a protein review
scorpion
raw egg chug (ala Rocky Balboa)
minnows (bait during a fishing trip)
and so on.....

those days are behind me ... I just dont think that I can do the ostrich egg
