Has anyone else done an ammo inventory?

Poaching With a Harley?

Small taters here. I have one bullet. When I shoot it I have to go out and find it. After I find it I clean it up then I remelt it, remold it, resize it then reload it. Then I am ready to shoot again. That follow up shot is kinda slow but I am working on it. I hope the government never comes and takes my one bullet from me.

By golly, that sounds like me, but with regards to poaching deer with my Harley. I'm up to THREE so far but dang!... Do you know just how much it costs to reload a Harley after each deer!?:eek::eek:

Here are Harley reloads #3 and #1...

Like many I never really tried to count the ammo. I just bought what I needed then added to the pile when I saw a good buy. Today we own 31 firearms in 8 calibers. This includes pistols rifles shotguns. I started a spreadsheet last year as a way to keep up with what I shoot and when to replenish. It's more of a concern with ammo prices being what they are right now. I update the sheet each time I go to the range or the family goes out to the farm to shoot. We have just over 10,000 rounds today. Seems like alot but I wish I had more. But I'll wait till better pricing returns to buy in bulk.... I hope.

FWIW: My ammo cans will hold 30, 30 round Magpul magazines loaded with M855. Each weighs in at about 35 lbs. When the top shelf of Mommas closet collapses when you are bent over digging for a pair of boots the can carries enough downrange energy to knock a full grown man smooth out.

Be careful out there!
