I really like using them and get them on sale from Midway when they have factory seconds.Real easy to see especially at longer distance. Either the Caldwells or the Dirty Birds. But they are expensive.
I did some searching and found some attempts but nothing great.
I tried some cheap black spray paint on the wax like paper that the targets come on. That and freezer paper (like wax paper) The shots were visible but no better than a paper plate.
They seem to have a more permanent layer in yellow or orange and then the outer black layer that is like scratch off ticket paint or coating.
One idea was to use tempura paint which I think is like the stuff used in grade school (water based?)
Any ideas??
