Has anyone gone 100% revolver?

Sir, not me. I have, use and like both. Different tools for different jobs and all that. Even Elmer Keith--possibly the "revolver-est" guy who ever lived--had some semi-autos.

Hope this helps, and Semper Fi.

I still like a few autos and would like to buy a few to replace ones I have sold, but for now I am 100% revolver.
all.357mag, so all i have to do is buy one type of ammo, but all my revolvers are different and each has a purpose.
I carry a 4" .357 every where I go.

My daily carry pieces are all S&W revolvers (638, 629), with Glock 21/30/36's thrown in for good balance in more urban settings.

Haven't gone 100% revolver, but I'm close. My CCW is a Ruger SP101 2.5" .357(carry .38 Gold Dots). Looked at a S&W 627...but the more I come to this website, the less and less I goto the semi-auto page.

I could...but I won't.
I own many more revolvers than semi-autos, but semi's have a place, and that place is on my belt.

I'm Down To Just a Beretta92FS & a Ruger MKII + a Jennings J-22 That was My Fathers..
I've also have a Remington Nylon 66 & a Ruger 10/22 in rifles..
The Rest are all Revolvers..

It's a Sickness
We need to start a 12 step program..
Today You will handle a 1911 without looking at the S&W Revolvers, This is the First step In becomeing Healed, I saw You Looking!!

Almost,

I no longer have a Glock or 1911. My night stand gun is the M&P 9 with night sights and Streamlight on the rail - also have a M41 and Ruger .22 target model. All other handguns are revolvers - mostly Smiths, but several Rugers. I rarely shoot the autos except to practice with the M&P. I do love to shoot revolvers and don't like to chase brass.

I am for all intent and purpose all revolver. I still have two auto's in the safe, a M41 and a Beretta M21, both in .22lr. Neither has been out of the safe in years.

The M41 is a three barrel set and just too sweet a paper puncher to get rid of. The Beretta isn't worth enough to carry around the gun show to get rid of, so there it sits.

For self defense there is the 3" Model 625-3, M19 2.5", M66 2.5", M37-2 and my pimped 1917 3".

For what ever reason I can not hit anything with an automatic handgun. I would do better to throw it at the bad guy then to attempt to shoot him. Must be all in my head, because I am a reasonably good shot with a revolver.

I think everyone owes it to themselves to have at least a semi auto .22 of target quality... a ruger mk II or smith 41 are just pure fun...

I won't be givin up the centerfire auto's either although I have rekindled the revolver love as much for the brass as anything else...

I believe my auto's outclass the revolvers for defense- my glock 19 holds 16 rounds and is about the size and weight of my model 19 which only holds 6... but I still carry both occasionally...

then again I have issues- there are not too many guns that I don't like

Yep, just revolvers. Started with wheels, bought a couple semis and got tired of packing magazines and jams(which didn't happen often). Went back to S&W revolvers.

My sentience exactly. I have semiautomatics mainly because of convenience factors, such as magazine capacity - but I don't expect my grandchildren to enjoy them or to function reliably in adverse environmental conditions (i.e., after I accidentally drop it in the lake while fishing).

...

I had the same problem with the Sig 226 - then I found out that was because Sig makes no attempt to sight the guns in at the factory (they told me that their notion of quality assurance is if they can get "groups" with three shots), and because the fixed sights require that you cover up your target with the front sight. After I figured that out, it worked pretty well. The Kahrs were perfect right out of the box, on the other hand.

That said, I reckon each of my revolvers is easier to sight in and shoot than any of my semiautomatics. It may be that's because of how I originally learned to shoot. Some young buck who's never touched a gun before going to the Police Academy is going to believe that a plastic fixed-sight low-bid semiauto that hasn't been sighted in properly is normal.

90% revolvers and thinking about the rest of auto's.They may go next.

My wife and I both prefer shooting revolvers. She has a M36, and I keep a 64-1 on the nightstand. She can shoot both well and I only have to worry about one type of ammo. I do have a 22A auto for cheap practice and I carry a Keltec P3AT, so you could say I'm not totally wheel gun but they get the most range time.

I love my sw model 10's. I inherited a unshot
sw model 59 with 2 14 shot clips in 9mm.

Is this a considered a quality piece ?

6 revolvers, all S&W. Just sold a Colt revolver or it would be 7.

2 - 1911's

The funds from the sale are going towards another S&W revolver.

I doubt I'll ever be without at least 1 1911.

Most of my handguns are revolvers, but I have a few autos:

1. NIB 1006 (safe queen)
2. NIB 1006 (safe queen)
3. NIB 1076 (safe queen)
4. LNIB 4006 (shooter)
5. NIB 4506 (safe queen)
6. LNIB Sig P226 (all stainless steel version)
7. Springfield XD-9 (3-inch barrel)
8. NIB AMT 5-inch Javelina (safe queen)
9. NIB AMT 8-3/8 Automag IV 10mm Mag (safe queen)
10. Beretta Neos
11. LNIB Star Mega Star (safe queen)

Still prefer revolvers to autos, but also like autos.

I started getting guns late in life (last year). I have two Ruger revolvers and a S&W (no lock) 642 on the way. 100% revolver guy (for now ).
