Has Anyone Tried Lipo-Flavonoid for Tinnitus ?

My tinnitus was helped by hearing aids which I needed, but refused to admit.
Have had hearing raids for over 40 years now. I have nothing to be of benefit otherwise.
The hearing loss most likely from getting in and out of UH1's with active door gunners in the late 60's.
Doctor said the military should've provided ear protection, I told him it wasn't my ears I was worried about at the time.

FYI, in the past year or so, the VA is giving free hearing aids, and glasses, to veterans who have any level of disability, even if hearing loss has not been diagnosed as service connected.

I have a serenade of cicada's as my tinnitus. I have found that properly programed hearing aids will suppress the noise enough to be nearly unnoticeable. My noise originated by working on Jet Engines running full bore while I did adjustments.

I've always thought the only cure or treatment for tinnitus was death. Your post makes me think about trying hearing aids, even though I have no idea how they might help. I know I've been pretty impressed with aviation noise-cancelling headsets. Is it a similar principle?
