Has anyone ever run a 9mm case up into a 38 special die to see if it would resize it enough to go into a 38 special chamber? Just wondering.
Always a breath of fresh air, aren't you Amici?
Do you ever have anything positive to contribute?
For what POSSIBLE purpose?
Then again, why isn't this in the Reloading section, where it belongs?
I think you miss TWO key facts:
1. 9 mm is SMALLER than .38 Special (.355 v. .357); and
2. 9mm is a rimless cartridge.
The former means there is nothing for the .38 Special die to resize; the latter means there is nothing to hold the cartridge in the chamber.

Oh by the way, a 9mm won't fit in any 38 super revolver that I have ever owned. I tried that too.
Back then, "Major" meant something; I was running 158 gr. cast bullets at about 1150-1200 fps. Nothing special for a .357, but the pressure to do that from .38 cases was of some concern to me, even though Speer #8 said it was not a problem...
