Has anyone used the Magpul PRS stock on their 15-22

Good question. I dont recall seeing one with that setup. But I haven't checked every pic in the pic thread yet. That sure is an expensive buttstock . I'm not sure what the advantages would be with that kind of stock. Looks more like it should be used for really long distance shooting. Like further than what the 15-22 could reach.

Yea I just like the looks of them and think it would be rather comfy and nice, even if its way too much for the 15-22. I don't mind spending the money though because I'm in the middle of an AR build and it will just go on the real rifle as I desire. I'd love to see pics or any other suggestions guys! Thanks again.

You'll have to modify your 15/22 to work ans they have a fixed adjustable stock tube. The PRS is designed to fit over a FIXED stock on a smooth round barrel extension / buffer tube. Look at the diagram how it is a cylindrical hole.

You'll need to remove the 6 position locking dents in your 15/22 rail, and either machine off the knob on the bottom of the stock or make a cutout where the retaining plate goes on a ream M4/M16.

Basically the same issue you'd have if you tried to mount a UBR stock on one.

The ACS will work without any modifications. Look at the wire diagram and see how it is a cylindrical hole with a rectangular hole below it, that is the shape of the fixed tube on the MP 15/22.

I have the ACS on my 15-22 and I like it, more solid, better cheek weld, storage compartments and slides right on.
