On 22 ammunition, that is? I checked the pro shop at the Fort Bliss Bow and Gun Club, and they were bulging with 22. I haven't seen CCI Green Tab for a year and a half: they had it in 100 round boxes for $22; buy as many as you wanted. I came home with 2. Federal Premium Match Grade was limited to one box per day. The only other brand limited like that was some very expensive Eley match. Haven't checked the LGS; I'll have to pay them a visit soon.
It looks like Remington has taken over sale of Eley 22 ammo in the US. Possibly as an attempt to overcome the bad taste their ammo has left in many of us. I remember pistol competition in the 1960s, where all we shot was Remington green box standard velocity. I even shot it at Camp Perry one year in my Model 41. Wouldn't do that with any of the current production. The Remington - Eley was labeled Club Extra, and was made in England, unlike some Eley Sport that is made in Mexico. I shot some of the Eley Sport; couldn't tell how well it was shooting as I was shooting it in a pistol, one handed, offhand. Even the worst ammo is more accurate than I am under those conditons.
