We went to our youngest's for dinner last night. It was spectacular!

Brussell sprouts : tossed in onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper and chipotle Dano-s. Roasted for 25 minutes and then tossed in lime juice, balsamic vinegar and maple syrup.

Green beans: sautéed in olive oil, garlic, teriyaki sauce, honey, chili paste, rice wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar and sesame oil.

Chicken thighs: marinated is mayonnaise, chipotle Dano-s, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Pan seared for 5 minutes, baked for 40 minutes with a sauce of teriyaki sauce, honey, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, balsamic vinegar.

Potatoes: tossed in salt and pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and then roasted. Tossed in balsamic vinegar when done.

I though I would share this with the epicurious here.

Rusty, hot darn that looks good. I thought I was going big dollar by microwaving a Marie Callender's Shepherds Pot pie for dinner;).

I seems that food usually tastes better when someone else is operating the stove.

PS: I just told mom about your recent dental adventure and she chuckled and said "oh, you boys!"

I stopped reading at brussels sprouts so I could wash my mouth out with Lysol. Sorry, but anything that smells and likely tastes like a soldier's socks after a four day route march isn't food.

Rusty, sorry to see you suffering so. Don't forget those starving kids in China.

Crazyhorse carving had its annual dinner for all the local first reponderslast night. Roast beef, fried chicken, various vegetables, great dinner rolls, pies, and big cookies for dessert. All it cost was a cash bar if one desired. Well protected with deputies in attendance,, lots of medical first responders, and an ambulance sitting in the parking lot!
