Have a Old S&W Handgun

With 2 Patd of 1855 & 1860
One reads F.W. Pond Worcester Mass Patd July 1860
The other is Manufacture for Smith & Wesson
Pat April 8 1855
Serial 6866

The only problem is there No Cylinder

I have not been able to find this handgun in the books or Web.
Looking for info & opinions On the gun & should I get a Request the history of your S&W handgun?

Thats a Pond belt revolver. Not manufactured by S&W, but successfully sued by them for patent infringement.

intresting little revolvers.
I have one in .22 short #214 and have been looking for parts
(chamber inserts) for about 20 years now...
seems parts are almost impossable to find.. been thinking about going out to the shop and trying to make my own, but dont think it would be worth the effort....
