Just got my Ruger 10-22, 25 rd magazine. Why it took them this long to come out with it I have no idea. Guess the old no high caps for Ruger.

Anyway, my first impression was the weight and how well it is built. This is a solid polymer mag and does not feel like cheap plastic. It can be disassembled for cleaning.

Range test, I tried 5 or 6 different brands of ammo. Slow fire, rapid fire, mixed up the ammo in the mag, not one hiccup! Bulk ammo, Rem and Winchester, Target ammo, HV, Regular velocity, lead copper etc. It feeds the cheap bulk stuff so that's all that matters to me.

The only magazines (IMO) that are as good or better is the
Tactical Inovations (TI25) but they are more expensive but can be adjusted for feed angle.

If you by the Ruger, better buy some more ammo also:)

how much $$$$$ ?and where did you purchase it? looks like something my Clark would like. I've stayed away from high cap 22 mags for the same reason...just felt really cheaply made. have a whole bunch of 10 shot Ruger mags.

They should run around $25 to $30 each if you can find one. I picked up two of them myself. Great mags.

Speaking of speed loaders.....anyone recommend an actual working replacement for an antique RamLine ALR 4300 that has....."spells"......

Also, WHERE are those magazines?

I got mine at Midway. It was out of stock but then in stock pretty quickly. I just checked and they still have them.

Ruger BX-25 Magazine Ruger 10/22 22 Long Rifle 25-Round Polymer Black - MidwayUSA

$25. My local guy is getting them and I will buy another from him.

These are way better than the plastic Ram Line, Hot lips, Butler Creeks etc,

Speed loaders?? These are very easy to load,

I'll give one of the Ruger mags a try, but it'll be hard to beat a Tactical Inovations TI25. The TI25 will probably last as long as the 1022 and mine has been 100% reliable.

Interesting that Ruger waited so long before marketing their own hi-cap mag for the 1022. I can only imagine the number of hi-cap 1022 magazines were sold by after-market companies that Ruger missed out on in the past 40 years.
