I love the solid build of the Bodyguard. I am not a fan of the trigger. I am seriously considering buying a non-safety, non-laser, Bodyguard and replacing the stock trigger with the Galloway upgrade.

I have seen some favorable reviews on the Galloway, but would like to hear from you have have one. Thoughts? Thanks!

I would like to do this too. Although the trigger pretty much makes it completely safe to pocket carry as is, I don't like how it has to be pulled ALL the way to the back of the guard to fire. Very long pull.

Agreed! I believe S&W would hit the jackpot if they made a Bodyguard 2.0 with a much better trigger (i.e. LCP II)!

According to people in the know, there is talk of BG 2 being revealed either in time for the holidays this year or shot next year. They are feeling the pressure from Taurus and Ruger coming out with new models.

As for the trigger, its fine IMO, its not a range gun, its a pop out 7 rounds to the threat less than 10 feet from you, gun.

You know guys I have to ask if ya at least dry fired your BG.380 before you bought it you would have known how the trigger was so you could have saved some money and bought a gen 2 LCP,LCP II,Rem380,Colt Mustang,SIG 238 or a G42.and or not have to invest in a after market trigger:eek::eek:We have one guy on this forum who when ever this subject arises lets us know how he HATES the BG.380 with out even firing it he got rid of it for a Ruger LCP II or a custom he calls the BG amsil or something like that so he carries a .45 around the farm :rolleyes:I for one knew I bought a DAO pistol and thats what I wanted.Perfect in the pocket and IWB.Sooooo I for one don't want a BG2 or a trigger kit,I got what I wanted a fine S&W LOOOONG DAO SECOND SHOT CAPABLE SS SLIDE PERFECT SIZE CONCEALABLE FINE SHOOTING TRUSTED Bodyguard.380 Thanx for hearing me,over and out:D:D
