Having Nighthawk Doing Some Custom Work for Me

Here is the first of several 1911s I'm having Nighthawk customize for me. This first one is a gun built by a guy in Nevada on a Caspian frame and slide. Very close fit between frame and slide, but his build had a lot wrong with it. Nighthawk addressed all of the issues and finished their build with a matte black nitride finish...which I think looks great. Super tough as well. BTW, Nighthawks prices and turn around time are very attractive.

Took it to the range today

These are the first 5 shots using a 6 o'clock hold at 25 yards from a bench over bags using American Eagle 230 grain JRN ball.
