Not about any drama...mostly about technology.
I consider Lee and many of the folks that make this place run good friends. Unfortunately, here in Rural Maine...I'm not able to keep up with the connectivity. My fastest link throught the local phone company is about 26K.
And with all the modern Patches that it takes to keep a forum up and running....I'm personally running out of options to keep up.
The funny thing is that at work I run Windows 7 on ultra speed....but that is only a few days at a time each week. So when I get home and try to keep up...I'm mostly locked out of viewing what's being posted. It is very frustrating.
Life is too short ~ to settle on somebody else's dust. I sometimes log in 5 or 6 times to get updated on threads that I'm participating in .....only to get that GodAwful warning that "Windows is unable to Connect" message.
So, until things change in my little window of the world...I guess that it's time to roll in the sidewalk. I'm not steppin' out on you guys. I'm just unable to keep up with the rest of the worlds connectivity....
