my old cat obvioulsy doesn't care for the new show Vegas. he assumed his "don't bother me" position when it came on tonight. when he is like this we don't bother him or we get the "look". lee

I don't have a cat. The cat that lives here has two attendances. She sleeps where ever she wants.

The cat pictured is almost upside down. With our Tom Cat, its his most dangerous position. Any attempt to touch is belly will result in blood. Yours, not his. When he wants to be social, he piles into your lap and purrs, taking a nap. The learning curve is quick. His position is a strong clue to his attitude.

Lol......all I can say is awesome! Mine crosses both her paws across her face when she's sleepy and doesn't want to be messed with. They really are such animated and intelligent creatures.

That is my favorite time to wad up bits of paper and toss them at the cat and pretend it wasn't me. Maybe that's why he likes to terrorize me back when I'm not paying attention.

But I have always envied my cats' ability to sleep standing on their head!

My vet said there are two different cats when petting them. One loves to be petted all the time and the other you can pet with three strokes then they hate it. I have 5 cats to control the rodent problem here and out of 5 only one is a 3 petter. Right now my 3 feral male cats who i adopted are hunting turkeys. Or trying too.

Huh. I kind of like "Vegas", and one of our cats sat on the back of the couch, right behind my head, watching it with me the other night. The other was prowling the kitchen, looking for someone to feed him, which is normal behavior when he's not sleeping.
