Right now I'm working on increasing my muscle mass by lifting heavier with less reps per set. My muscles require more protein to repair the damage done to it at the gym. Carbs and calories too.you eat meat n eggs, so why protein powder?
Best right after a good hard workout. It's easily digested and helps with protein synthesis in the muscle fibers.It's a quick way to get something in.

That's the thing. Get both the bike and the body in shape then go out and kick some butt.Hey guys, finally got my suspension back and got a good ride in over the weekend. Wow, I had ignored it too long. Not only was the fluid worn out, I had some broken parts that needed replaced. My guy took care of me and the bike felt great over the weekend. We went to a private spot just a bit southwest of Charleston and the trails were epic! The soil down there offers great traction. Eroded sandstone is so much more fun to ride on than the clay we have just a few hours away. Next (and final) race of the year is in a week and half. I'm stoked. Also, the new job is going well, but the 10 hour days where I'm on my feet for most of the day is keeping me away from the gym more than I should be taking lol
