Hef does it again...

While I am not sure, I think she may be looking for money from him. He is close to 20 yrs older than I am and I would not consider marriage to someone her age or even twice her age.

I hope he knows an attorney that is good on pre-nups.

So no more 21 year old blonde triplets? He's making a HUGE mistake! And speaking of archaeology, I was thinking you could probably Carbon-14 date Hef at this point.

What a maroon, as bugs used to say.

John

Wonder what they have in common to talk about at the breakfast table? :)

Maybe she works in the quality control department of the company that made Hef's hip replacement?

I bet that she does not know what a 1956 Chevy Bel Aire looks like and never watched Percy Sledge perform. She likely never danced to a slow song that had words and rhythm.

Nope, I am 20 yrs younger than Hef and she and I would not have anything other than silicone to talk about.

60 years is quite a bit differance. My first wife was 12 years younger and that didnt work. My wife now is a few months shy of 17 years younger. Our 7th anniversery is in a couple weeks. I am a few months older than her mother.
I cant imagine looking over my wheaties at someone old as me! Theresa takes good care of me and we are happy!

ahh Hef just did this to anger his last GF IMO he was with her for about 8 years and never would marry her so she left. Holly Madison is the name.

Holly left Hef over the issue of them having kids. She wanted some; he has four, from two prior marriages. Two are in their late teens, and came across very well in recent interviews.
They seem to get along well with sister Christie, from Hef's first marriage. Christie was for many years the business manager of Playboy Enterprises, Inc. She is a VERY sharp cookie, and has been suspected of being a potential Democratic (drat!) candidate for elective offices. She is pretty and smart and quick-witted. She would be tough to beat in an election.

Hef and Holly still get on well, and were pictured together in the Jan., 2011 issue of, Playboy. (US edition.)

Crystal Harris has been his main squeeze since Holly moved on. (She has a reality show, and has just released a book on Las Vegas.) The other blonde twins were evidently mainly for image reasons. I gather that only Crystal was really intimate with Hef. Another girl who knows them well said several months ago that Hef and Crystal were "pretty serious."

Hef's second wife lives next door to the Mansion, and Marston and Cooper used to commute between their parents' homes. I guess they still do, although they can drive, now. They used to walk through a hedge.
They are shown in the magazine this issue (Jan.) at the Mansion. They seem to get along well with their dad, although one said in an interview that he has been a low-key father who didn't get angry much. He just told the lads what they did wrong (if they did) and how to do things better the next time.

Unlike many celebrity children, they haven't made fools of themselves in public, and both seem witty and polished. I suspect that they will retain the magazine after their dad passes on. Sister Christie will probably be a good source of advice, too.

Hugh Hefner is neither senile nor stupid. He is still as sharp as a tack. I don't doubt that Crystal likes him a lot, even if her love may be sort of like that for a favorite uncle. Only they know. He does have a record of getting along with his former girlfriends and I suspect that this latest wedding will be heavily featured in the magazine, which has editions in many countries. It will probably sell a lot of magazines! He may also display his wife in a pictorial feature. More magazines sold...

I suspect that Holly Madison and his other two former girlfriends will attend the wedding, too. (Gad, what a contrast between Holly and that potty-mouth Kendra!)

Keep in mind that Hef is not only wealthy, but a cultural icon.
Being the new Mrs. Hefner will give this girl instant fame, and she will live very well, indeed. Hefner is generous to his ladies. And many idolize him, for his treatment of them and the changes that he brought to their lives.

We can't judge Hugh Hefner by the standards that often apply to other older men who marry very young girls. Of course, he isn't alone in that. One US Supreme Court Justice married his far younger law clerk, and there have been other successful May-December marriages.

But Hef is hardly a fool: I'm pretty sure that there will be a good pre-nup contract. He'll provide well for her, in all liklihood, but he'll also keep his kids in mind. She won't walk off with the magazine and related businesses when he expires.

Hef is also far more personable (in my view) and better looking than say, Larry King, who also married a younger woman. Michael Douglas also is married to a much younger woman, famous in her own right: Catherine Zeta Jones Douglas. Sharon Stone (a family friend) recently told an entertainment show that the Douglasses are very close, and that Catherine is a major support for her husband in his struggle with throat cancer.

When men reach icon status, their opportunities with younger women are different than for most of us. Sometimes, it works out well. Crystal Harris probably isn't a genius, but I wish the Hefners well.

This is NOT an endorsement of some of, Playboy's editorial stances, but it is about the only major, slick magazine that allows gun debate in its pages, and often prints as many or more pro-gun letters as it does anti-gun ones. Its Forum section allows public debate on the issue.

Finally, Hef has been in the news with his generous million dollar contribution to save the famous "Hollywood" sign above the city, which was slated for destruction by developers. He said that it inspired many of his dreams, and dreams are what led to much of his success and happiness. Perhaps Crystal Harris Hefner will add to that happiness.

Very well put, and I echo your post as well. Age is just a number. My ex wife was sixteen years older than me, and it was NEVER an issue; we divorced for VERY different reasons other than anything emotional or age related. I think Hef is great; he's figured out a way to live his life in a way that most of us would have LOVED to have done. He's remained amicable with his ex girlfriends and wives alike, and seems to have a good relationship with his kids. You never hear of stupid scandals with him, and he keeps private what he wants, and publicizes what he wants. On top of at all, he's got enough money to choke a horse, stays in his pajamas all day while making it these days, and still parties pretty hard for an 84 year old, and can do it all without having to leave the confines of a pretty nice shack of a home. I can only hope to have a three bedroom, two bath one day myself.

When Hef was 24 this girl's parents weren't even born yet.

Oh well, nobody can accuse him of marrying someone half his age.

I wonder if he has considered that in just six years she will be thirty.

Maybe she's a dyslexic cougar?

Jay Leno is dyslexic, and has managed to support himself rather well.

If you really think that Crystal Harris is a "cougar", better Search her, or see her pic on the TV news this morning. She's a spry young lynx! :) Actually, I think she's the prettiest of Hef's three wives, although Barbi Benton (long-time girlfriend) was nice too. It was Barbi who picked out the Holmby Hills Playboy Mansion.

Now that's funny..

As for Hef being a "fool"...I guess we all have different yard sticks for what makes a fool...a sharp witted entrepreneur who built a global empire in his pajamas and got older as his women got younger may be a lot of things...but a fool sure isn't one of them.
